16. Infrared connections
Use the Infrared menu (Menu 11) to activate
communications between your phone and other
devices through its infrared (IR) port. To connect
via IR, the device with which you want to connect
must be IrDA compliant. Your Nokia phone is a
Class 1 Laser Product.
Note: The preferable distance between the two devices in infrared
connection is a range of 3 inches to three feet maximum. There
must be no obstructions between the two devices and the IR ports
of the two devices have to be pointing at each other.
